Reliance Jio has been testing the Jio GigaFiber broadband services for over two years now and the initial rollout will be in 1,100 Indian cities. On the other hand, Reliance Jio has claimed that it will offer up to 1Gbps of speed with its Jio GigaFiber services while reports have suggested that during the testing phase, the company was able to offer speeds of up to 700Mbps on an average.

However, before installing your connection, Reliance Jio will see from where they have got the most number of registration requests and then, the company will add these areas on a priority basis to complete the registration process.

While On August 15, you will only be able to register yourself for a new Jio GigaFiber connection for free, the company will send an installation team to your house to install the Jio GigaFiber router as well as Jio GigaTV connection.

You have to pay 4500.Rs as security deposit for the router that Jio will provide you , even tho boardband service will be free for 3 month from the installation.

Jio GigaFiber plans, the company is expected to introduce five new plans worth Rs. 500, Rs. 750, Rs. 999, Rs. 1,299 and Rs. 1,500 initially, with the 1Gbps plan.
